ABOUT US
Kustens Fisketaxi has its home port in Hälleviksstrand. We offer boat taxis, fishing trips and charter activities between Marstrand – Smögen.
The boat is a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 Marlin (9 x 3m), model year 2020, certified for 10 people, especially designed for comfortable fishing in tough conditions. The march speed is around 30 knots, which means that we quickly get out to the fishing waters outside Måseskär with its surroundings or to other destinations in the archipelago.
The boat is equipped with all possible equipment for fishing, navigation and safety. The cozy cabin offers a protected and comfortable area against the weather.
My name is Christer Videgård and I am usually a skipper on board, but also my good friend Anders Cronwall takes command during the high season when we have a lot to do.
Many of you probably know Anders from all years when he successfully ran Anders Båt & Brygga. For those of you who do not have local knowledge, it can be said that Anders Båt & Brygga offered the same service as the Kustens FiskeTaxi. Even at that time we worked together but then I jumped in as skipper on Anders’s boat when there was a lot to do.
Our local knowledge and long experience of the service that we offer, together with our nautical education, guarantee a safe and hopefully a very positive experience out of the ordinary!
All passengers are insured through a special P&I insurance (Protection & Indemnity), a liability insurance that safeguards the passengers’ interests in the event of injury, illness, etc.

After 10 min waiting time will there be an additional charge of 500 SEK for every newly started 30-minute period.

SEA FISHING WITH ROD
The boat leaves from the main dock in the harbor of Hälleviksstrand and is back after approximately 3 hours.
The fishing sites vary depending on the weather and the wind, but mostly we fish in the waters around Måseskär. We mainly fish mackerel between June – August. The guests keep the catch! Cooling bag with freezer packs or water filled frozen milk cartons is to be recommended to bring along!
Life jackets are available to borrow.
Price 650 SEK per person (at least 6 persons / bookings or equivalent price).
Price SEK 300 per passenger who does not fish.
Sea fishing rod is available to rent for SEK 100 per person.
Cost for loss of pilk (jig) or crochet 80 SEK.

LOBSTER FISHING
NOTE! BOOK IN GOOD TIME! Spaces are limited!
The boat leaves from the main dock in the harbor of Hälleviksstrand and is back after approximately 2 hours.
Warm comfortable clothes and waterproofed shoes or boots are to be recommended.
Life jackets, ”Grundéns” fishing pants and jacket are available to borrow.
Price SEK 750 per person without catch (at least 4 persons / bookings or equivalent price).

SIGHTSEEING
We tailor the route based on your wishes.
Perhaps do you wish to see Bohuslän’s picturesque fishing villages from the seaside, make a stop for an an ice cream, have lunch or discover the archipelago’s beautiful islands, go ashore on an island and go for a hike or a swim?
We promise to do our best to fulfill your wishes and make the trip a memory for life!

FOOD & ACCOMMODATION
There are a several cafes, restaurants, B&B’s, hotels, cottages and campsites in the immediate area.
In Hälleviksstrand we can highly recommend Mias Sjöbod for a cozy moment on the dock with good food and drink, lovely pastries etc.
In the harbor you can enjoy an ice cream or hamburger in the kiosk or have a beer at Erwings, the pub which often offers live music besides food and drink.
Hällevik Yacht Club is the latest major investment that, when the facility is fully developed, will be able to offer hotel, SPA and rental cottages. The restaurant opened already in June of 2020.

Hotell Käringön in the harbor entrance or the Lotshotellet offers nice accommodations.

Gullholmsbaden offers both food & drinks and accommodation in a lovely environment.
Skottarn in the middle of the harbor offers food & drinks and sometimes live music.
Grundsund
Pelles Rökeri in the harbor entrance and Smultron & Tång a little further into the harbor serves food & drinks and sometimes live music.
Mollösund
Mollösunds Wärdshus offers both food & drinks and accommodations as well as Café Emma and Prästgårdens Pensionat
Movitz Magasin and Kvarnen Kök & Bar in the harbor entrance offer food and drinks.
Lyrön
Bryggvingen offers food & drinks in a pleasant environment with a great view.
